A challenge is a competition on Endomondo where a number of either users or teams of users compete against each other. The concept is ideal for any company or organization that wants to run a fitness campaign for their employees or members.

Endomondo offers many different types of challenges. Individual challenges can be one of the following six types: Most calories burned, most miles/km, most minutes, most workouts, fastest X miles/km or first to reach X miles/km. Team challenges can be of the following types: Most calories burned, most miles/km, most minutes, most workouts, average calories burned, average miles/km, average minutes, average number of workouts. While it's free for everybody to set up a challenge on Endomondo, a business challenge makes it very easy for a company to get started and to keep track of the results.
