Heart rate monitoring launch

Long ago, we stopped counting the number of you guys who have asked us to include heart rate monitor integration. Well….now it’s here!

Today, we are extremely excited to introduce you to our new heart rate monitoring feature! From now on, you can integrate your Zephyr Bluetooth heart rate belt with the Endomondo app enabling you to train with heart rate monitoring for the first time.

We launch this feature for Android phones only version 2.0 and onwards to begin with, but don’t worry we will add other mobile platforms as well as other heart rate monitor brands as we go on. We’ll make sure to keep you guys in the loop.

To get the heart rate belt, go here. Remember to use "endomondo" as the coupon code to get a 5$ discount.

Enjoy it!

Audio alerts for heart rate zones is a must for proper training. I really do hope you guys get to it fast, otherwise I'll have to jump to Sporttracker :-(

I run on a minimum and maximum heart rate, will there be a possibility to insert the minimum and maximum and that the audio coach will comment when you go to low or to high? That would be awesome!!

Does the Endomondo GPS recording work ok with the San Francisco? Just sold my iPhone to fund a canoe purchase, but want to get a 'tracking' phone to replace it

I was looking for a HRM to track my heart rate with Endomondo, went to the Endomondo shop where they sell the Polar and bought it. Today I realized it does NOT work and the I found this blog. Why does Endomondo not warn people that Polar does not work on all devices ? Have a HTC wildfire by the way... I'll switch to another software...

Polar HRM didn't work with HTC desire and Endomondo software is detected by the phone, luckily does link with sportstracker software. Otherwise the hardware recommended by this site would have been a waste of money. Can you tell us when a Polar bluetooth HRM will work with Endomondo and HTC desire and android 2.2
