PROGRAM PARTNERS:

Kimberly-Clark Corporation and the League of American Bicyclists

ELIGIBILITY:

  • The Challenge is open to all persons who either live in the US or work for an organization with US employees.
  • The Challenge is offered free to all individuals, workplaces and organizations.

DURATION:

  • The Challenge starts May 1, 2013 and ends September 30, 2013.
  • The Challenge has a warm-up period until April 30, 2013. This time is intended for users to become familiar with the website and the act of logging miles. Points accrued during this time will not count in the official Challenge.

POINTS SYSTEM:

  • Points are awarded throughout the Challenge and are cumulative over the duration. They are awarded in the following two ways:
    • 20 Challenge points are awarded for each day you ride at least 1 mile
    • 1 Challenge point is awarded for each mile ridden
  • Rides can be logged at anytime over the month but must be logged by 11:59 pm of the last day of each month.

PRIZES AND AWARDS:

  • All participants who live in the U.S. are automatically eligible for the monthly prize drawings and awards at the end of the Challenge.
  • To be eligible for monthly prize drawings, you must live in the U.S. and all rides for each month must be entered by 11:59 pm of the last day of each month.
  • Prize winners will be selected monthly and award winners awarded at the end of the Challenge.
  • As you participate in the Challenge and accumulate points, you will achieve incremental point levels:

Award winners (those who finish at the top of their category) will be selected at the end of the Challenge from sixteen Challenge Categories:

TEAMS:

  • The first person to create a new team is automatically assigned to be the Team Captain.
  • The Team Captain can appoint another member as the Captain.
  • Teams can range in size from 1 to as many teammates as desired.

WORKPLACES:

  • When entering your workplace, make sure it is consistent with others at your workplace. Ex: Rider A enters that they work at "Kimberly-ClarkQuot;, and Rider B enters "Kimberly Clark.Quot; They will not both be counted as rider for the same workplace. Take care that your workplace all enters the name of your office with the exact same spelling.
