Advertising and Challenges

We do not do traditional banner advertising. Instead, we can offer advertisers to sponsor a challenge which will then be featured on our website towards potentially millions of users. We believe this kind of advertising is not only more value adding for users as they get something to compete about, it's also more value adding for advertisers because we really engage users around a brand.

This is how we promote a featured challenge:
- Featuring on the front page and home page with a picture/logo for the entire period
- Invitation sent to users via Endomondo - this will appear as a request on their home page
- Email sent out to users - we send out one email per month with up to five featured challenges mentioned

The cost of a challenge depends on the size of the user base reached. A challenge can be targeted at all users or at a specific gender and/or countries. A standard challenge lasts for a full calendar month but this can vary. The challenge must include a prize.

Events

If you're organizing a sports event, Endomondo will come in handy! We can offer you free live tracking of your event. You will get your own page showing a map with the participants tracking in real-time and you can even choose to show this on a big screen on site. This is a free service that you can easily set up yourself. Check out this Guide on how to get started! If you still have questions, please write us at event@endomondo.com.

Please note that we do not have resources to offer special assistance or be present during events.

Sponsorships

We get a lot of mails from athletes looking for a sponsor to donate equipment or support them financially. Unfortunately, as a startup offering a free service, we do not have the resources to offer any help of that kind. But we can promise to keep developing our free services - some of our feature can be useful when making sponsor partnerships, e.g., the widgets that can be embedded on your sponsor's page so people easily can follow you.
