Cara Schildmeyer was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is an outpatient physical therapist in a hospital-based setting. Cara has a wealth of research and writing experience in the rehabilitation sciences field and the cell biology and endocrinology fields. Cara is the author of a thesis publication and is coauthor of multiple scientific journal publications. She has worked with a wide variety of age groups and populations. Cara currently treats conditions such as chronic and acute spine pain, deconditioning, postoperative total joint replacements, osteoarthritis, and much more. She also sees a population of patients with vestibular conditions and treats individuals with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) with maneuvers to relieve their symptoms. Cara has a particular interest in treating deconditioning in the geriatric population through strength and conditioning.
